Our Story
Chris & Sherry
We’re just an ordinary family from a small town in Georgia. We’ve been married for twenty years and have four amazing kids. If you had told us years ago where this journey would take us, we never would’ve believed it. Over the course of our marriage, we’ve lived on four continents and have been serving in global missions since 2010.
It hasn’t always been easy—cross-cultural ministry comes with real challenges—but it’s shaped our hearts in ways we never expected. Now, we feel deeply called to London, where our focus is on walking alongside local churches and the leaders who guide them. Our hope is simple: to encourage and equip healthy pastors, so they can lead thriving churches that make disciples and plant new ones.
Why London
London is a global city with the nations right on its doorstep. While it has a rich Christian heritage, much of that has been overshadowed by the rise of false religions and growing unbelief. But it’s not all bad news—far from it!
All across the city, there are powerful stories of gospel hope. Churches are gathering people from every background and culture, united by the transforming power of Jesus. London is a place where the world has come together, and with that comes an incredible opportunity—to reach the nations without ever leaving the city.
The Vision
London needs healthy churches—churches that faithfully preach the gospel, make disciples, and are led by shepherds who are spiritually healthy and supported. While there are many faithful, gospel-preaching churches across the city, the task of reaching London remains massive.
Many of these churches are doing everything they can to reach their neighborhoods, but they often face the work with limited resources. It can be slow, hard, and isolating. Over time, that kind of pressure can lead to discouragement and burnout. That’s where we feel called to step in—to come alongside these churches, offer encouragement and care, and help build meaningful connections between them. We believe that together, we can do far more than we ever could alone.
Over the years, we’ve built strong relationships with local pastors and churches in and around London who are faithfully doing the work of ministry. Our role is to support them through ongoing care, training, equipping, and by helping foster partnerships that strengthen their efforts to reach the city with the gospel.
We are currently serving alongside Slade Evangelical Church, in partnership with the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC), and have been sent out by our home church, Prince Avenue Baptist Church in Bogart, GA. Together, we’re trusting God to strengthen and equip more leaders and churches—to see the gospel go further and deeper in London and beyond.
The Mission
Equip the Church
Jesus loves His church and is actively building it. He has called each of His followers not only to Himself but also into His family—the body of believers. In Ephesians 4:11-16, Paul reminds us that the church is to be equipped for the work of ministry, building up the body of Christ for the good of the church and the glory of God. Our prayer and passion is to see churches receive the tools and resources they need to faithfully carry out their God-given mission in their local communities.
Encourage the Shepherds
Pastoring is one of the most rewarding callings, but it’s also incredibly difficult—and often lonely. Pastors pour themselves out in prayer, study, preaching, and sacrificial service for their churches. Yet too often, they face discouragement, isolation, and a lack of support. I’ve been there myself—knowing what it’s like to struggle applying the gospel I preach to my own life. Every pastor needs the reminder that God is with them, that the gospel gives hope, and that they are not alone. We want to be a Barnabas—an encourager and friend—to those pastors who need it most.
Establish Partnerships
Working together for the gospel isn’t a new idea. Scripture shows us that ministry is most effective when done in community, not as lone rangers. London is filled with many small churches—often led by a single pastor or sometimes none at all—which limits what any one church can accomplish alone, no matter how big their vision. Our hope is to see churches join hands, share resources, and build strong partnerships so they can reach their communities more effectively with the gospel.
Get Involved
One of the beautiful things about the Church is that we’re not meant to do this alone. When we partner together, we can accomplish far more than we ever could on our own.
By supporting our family, you're joining in the work of gospel ministry in London—encouraging pastors, strengthening churches, and helping reach the nations from right here in the city. We truly can’t do this without people like you standing with us.
